Hi Flint

I remember that shipment. The shipment went by USPS Priority Mail. Took 10 days to reach you. Since then, I shipped a muzzle loading double rifle to Indiana by USPS Ground Advantage. Took 9 days for the buyer to receive it. It sat at the St. Louis, MO DC for 7 days before leaving. Once it arrived at the Indy DC the turn around time was only one day. Go figure. So, in both cases, it was the St. Louis Hub that caused all the delay. It seems depend on which Hub(s) the shipment has to travel through. Since then, I read where certain Hubs like St. Louis, Memphis, Jacson, MS, and Atlanta are SEVERELY back-logged. So, I guess it just depends on which city you live in/near.

Groan........... Another shipping question. "label"? I have never labeled contents for any package I have sent via UPS. They do freak out when a package is shaped like it might contain a long gun. Explanations that it is a legal muzzle loader do not penetrate their thick skulls. That is why I use USPS Click and Ship. Package gets picked up from my front porch with no questions asked. Never a problem.
YOU PRINT A SHIPPING LABEL OUT! Ya know address postage deal.

I once received a package with damage to the article inside. The package, an actual box made from wood, was without enough outside damage to account for the breakage inside. I checked into it as best I could and think I now know the employee, but not his name, responsible.
