I got an older GPR off gunbroker and found out it had a seized musket nipple. After I finally got it out I realized that it was in there cross threaded so the hole for the nipple to go in is completely stripped. Is there an option to drill out and re tap for a bigger size nipple?

You will do yourself a huge favor if you take the rifle to a machine shop with a nipple that is supposed to go on the rifle and an oversized one as well. There are time one can salvage the threads and then there are the unlucky times new one have to be made.
