404 Not Found pages are generally an internal error page called up from the user's system, they can be found (and even modified) in the Systems folder of your hard drive.

I could have told you yesterday that Log Cabin doesn't maintain their own server, just look at the bottom of the page and it says so.
Yeah. Of course they don't maintain their own (physical) server and server environment. The question is whether they maintain their own site and site software. Not that this matters at all for people who just want the site to work.

But why are you conflating these things? Just because a company is buying web services from somewhere, or using an available web management tool, doesn't mean they aren't doing some or all of their own maintenance. "Powered By The Breeze Website Builder" doesn't mean anything about who does support or who maintains the site. "Powered by" doesn't mean "maintained by" or "supported by".

The Breeeze Website Builder is an open source content management and development platform which allows users to "Build your own website." So who knows who's actually doing their web site support? You sure can't tell that from the "bottom of the page". If you look at the getthebreeze.com site you'll see the various choices. One is "Do It Yourself" and the other is "Find a Pro". Nothing on The Log Cabin page comes close to saying whether Log Cabin has their own support personnel or farms it out -- though I suggested early on that they likely farmed it out. Geez ... I feel like I'm giving an intro to web development and support course here -- to a "system analyst".

Works fine from my Android using Chrome.
A great classic low-grade first-level support response: "Well, sorry man, but it works for us here at Low-Grade Consultants. Nothing to see here. Have a nice day." Again, you offered assistance. Saying it "Works for me" (on one system) isn't assistance. Amateur night!

Total amateur night. You really understand nothing about web programming or architecture. I'm done with that.

Editing the 404 error pages was like the first week of Admin class (MCA), which is prereq for MCP which is prereq to MCSE

Oh, and I built and managed my own site for years, even got a mention in PC Magazine for it back in the 90s (written entirely in NoteTab Pro...that's a text editor ;))

Very revealing. I'm sincerely sorry. I really thought you understood more about the current web, its architecture, development, and support than you do. If I'd known where you were coming from and the level of your actual knowledge and experience, I never would have leaned on you the way I did. No point to it.

I really don't understand why so many people are slagging others off. I used to teach UI.T. but I would not dream of lecturing others -- - leading to PAGES of diatribes --- I just want to get on with my life, which is hard enough these days. How about something on NM-L shooting related matters please ?
Sorry about the typo --- not "NM-L" of course. Too keen to get back into the gunroom ;-)

I filled out the "contact us" form again today (second time) and got a response that they would contact the web company about the problem. Maybe it will be fixed. I can always call in order like I had to do first time. Just more convenient to order online. Couldn't buy from RMC Ox-Yoke yesterday because of some credit card processing problem. Finally able to buy the item from Jedediah Starr. Crazy world we have know.
If you can get a Catalogue and call it in

i don’t really see the problem
I spent the last 13 years deploying to really bad countries and could not wait to come back to America

I would dream of getting a catalog
make a cup of coffee and call of the stuff I need to do for Rendezvous

It is not that hard fellas

whether you’re working or retired it doesn’t matter

ITS not a make a big DEAL
LOG CABIN SHOP a very good place to deal with

Calling in the order is still a big step up from mailing in three Kellog's cereal box tops for the baking soda powered submarine when I was a kid.

I actually ordered one of thse when I was a kid. Major disappointment. Didn’t work worth a hoot.

Several things amaze me about this thread. I used to rely on the Muzzleloading Forum for reasonably polite discussions on any topic brought up. People's egos get in the way of analyzing things and suggesting solutions. Shame on me for reading 4 pages of this grown up bickering.
