Now if you can only teach them to build a new rifle or smoothbore for you!

That just tickled me to death!!

Especially the live fire. Excellent job boys. I can't help but look at their proud little lego faces and smile. They sure look and act like veterans too!

:hatsoff: :hatsoff: :hatsoff: :hatsoff:

Do they hire out for re-enactments/demonstrations? What is the bore size of the mortar? Emery

I'm afraid that they are booked for the forseeable future. The bore is .180 perfect for bb's.

That's about what I had guessed, judging from the size of the crew. Emery

Cool beans, when I was a kid I would have killed for that addition to my leggo collection. I had to stuff lady finger firecrackers into my toy cannon. Gotta play that one for my little boys. :hatsoff:

 Oh how true---my son refers to me as ....." my 77 year old kid brother....."Now that's a good kid---

I saw a couple of cannons on auctionarms that use firecrackers or powder. They were only started at around $30. One was a field cannon and I think the other was a garrison cannon. No bids yesterday.
