One of the other forums I am on relating to unmentionable firearms has a casting/reloading section.
I found a member there who has pure lead.
Twice I have traded him my scavenged range scrap lead for pure lead.
You might be able to find someone who is willing to do the same thing.

Results from Monday. First time , cooler day , put on my safety gear and fired up the propane and went to work (but it was fun). I did find out that one of the pans I used didn't work well and the ingots would not come out finally got them out and re-melted those. The cast iron corn bread mold worked. Started with about 136 pounds of soft lead scrap and ended up with 121 pounds. Used the 6B pencil on the stuff going in and left out the stuff it would not scratch.
