All the scrimshaw is done freehand. No stencils. Pencil the designs on the horn and start scratching.

It is a Rev. war period horn.
I'm located in Mount Clemens, Mi.
This horn is actually horn #186. I always have 2 or 3 on the workbench that I go back and forth on as the mood hits me.
Kind of funny. I figured out once that I make a whopping $6.00 an hour doing these but is really satisfying to know that someone will hopefully turn this into an heirloom that may last a couple of hundred years. Thanks Paul
