I was cleaning up the work bench and there’s a box of the horn tips from all of the powder horns I made that got my attention.
Cow horn has so many uses- I was thinking about making some buttons or whatever with them. It occurred to me that powder measures could be a great use for them. So I got out my drill and files and crafted a couple. Takes less than a hour.
These are for my Fusil de Chasse. The 65 grain is for powder ( I want to up that load to 70 though, so I will make a new one) and the 95 g. Measure for either round ball or shot (about 1- 1/4 ounces).
I’m so frugal lol 😂
