Here is an image of the late Kit Ravenshear with a 1758 Light Infantry Fusil he made for me back in 1990 or so. It is the carbine version of a Brown Bess: 42" barrel and .66 caliber (one of the 'new light arms' of the time). It was issued to the British Grenadiers and was a preferred arm for Rangers when they could acquire them. The bayonet is a 15-1/2" blade original, also scaled down.
