Why not? If they had commissioned a professional photographer to make that photograph, it would have cost them hundreds at least. Once upon a time, I was a newspaper photographer and I saw some photographs sell for incredible amounts of money. I only wish that I'd been savvy enough back then to try to sell my picture of Ronald Reagan with a woman handing him a dog.

"They already are overrun, just not as badly as other manufacturers (yet). The price and the flint only help keep the riff raff away."

And just why do you think percussion shooters are rift raft?

That is rather tacky, rude and elitist.

This has no context for me. Are you responding to another post I haven't read? Maybe you wanna use the "reply" button in the message you are responding to. It will even offer an editable quote of the original message. Also, what is a "rift raft"?

Nice pic. From all the net chatter about them I wonder if they will be overrun with orders?
They already are overrun, just not as badly as other manufacturers (yet). The price and the flint only help keep the riff raff away. If they had a percussion cap version, I probably would have bought one instead of the Traditions kit that I bought. Though lack of caps may make me rethink this move, need to find some kind of priming powder around me.

Go to page 2 and read.

I used the "quote" button and it did not work!

Rift raft is a negative term for folks, lower class of folks.

failing to find polite words to respond to that
"sometimes we['gun owners'] are our own worst enemy

Do, however, wish to celebrate the OP's build & incredible art of his photograph. Inspiring!

I think you mean "riff raff". As to the quote button, to err is human, to really foul things up requires a computer!

When you posted that photo once before I thought it was a great shot. You have a good eye for presentation of your gun. Washington has some very nice country for doing so. Congrats on your photo being used in there catalog. I would be excited also.

Think many frontiersmen bore that name with some pride. I know i do.

As for Kibler I have watched all the videos and enjoyed them. After my last restoration efforts (like the Frankenflinter, et al), precision CNC work seems a dream come true and the only way to go. This especially for those with limited skills or arthritis, If i could only have one rifle that i could complete to my satisfaction it would be a woodsrunner. I am not saying hurry but everything changes so fast now.

I presume you are proud of your rifle and the photo. You have good reason to be.
Late last century, I took some motorcycle photos at Daytona and posted them on an online forum. I spotted one of them a couple years ago because someone had grabbed it and copyrighted it. Ask for a photo credit, but enjoy the honour either way. Congratulations.

They are giving me credit they said they would put my name on it. I am happy with that! I am excited they want to use it!
