Just bought this thing. It's pretty big. The cannon itself is 26" long, 23" wide, 15.5" high. Picking up Monday. I reckon the wheels must be about 5' high. Looks pretty well made. Can't tell how old, maybe 100 years? The cannon itself is marked US 1892 but who knows. No other info. Looks like something that was shop made, well made and maybe for the circus or carnivals or something. Can't wait to see what's what.

Have you seen it in person? Some how the pictures show it to me as being smaller then maybe you think. I hope it goes good for you. Let us know how you make out.

You are right! What a fool I am but today I discovered that the dimensions are the total dimensions. That is fine as what the heck would I do with something so large?

Looks neat!
I would say the wheels are about 12 inches high. With a 1" or slightly larger bore.
Let us know how it turns out!

Yes now that I have my bearings wheels are 15" or so high. Bought online at a cowans sale and it was very hard to tell what the size was, the way they described it made it seem full sized. Excited to pick up on Monday! Will update
