A while back I commissioned a young gunmaker named Eric Von Aschwege to build me a rifle in the style of Jacob Kuntz. The result is below. Also if you click on the link you will see a lot more detail and some back story. For me this is a once in a lifetime rifle. On Sunday March 8 I will be 64 and this is my present to myself. I cannot wait for some of this snow to melt so I can get to the range. Not only is this rifle beautiful, but the handling and balance are exquisite. Thank you Eric for this treasure.

That rifle is a great tribute to kuntz and you are fortunate to get it. Enjoy it and shoot it often. Congrats
