This rifle was a recent purchase, it's in excellent condition. Does anybody have any insight as to the twist rate of this rifle? I've done some preliminary research and haven't turned up any results. Thanks!

Of course, Investarms importing from various manufacturers could specify a different twist rate, BUT..., most commonly especially in a .45, the twist rate should be 1:48.

A better question would be how deep are the rifling grooves. It should shoot .440 patched round ball well, and I'd suggest if you want to try conical bullets that you get a combination mold from Lee, that gives you a .440 round ball AND a 200 grain REAL bullet. The R.E.A.L. stands for Rifling Engraved At Loading, which means that you use a little pressure and the bullet is forced onto the rifling when you load it, rather than relying on the powder explosion and inertia to force the lead from the bullet to expand and grab the rifling. ;)
