My experience is based on the Remington 58 model, so I'm not sure if it goes across the board to all models but,...Pietta's had a narrow cylinder bolt notch... sometime around 2000 they change to a wider notch. So the new cylinders are not interchangeable with the old guns.

Nope.

For Pietta the new cylinders (CNC) will work in the older (pre-CNC) frames but not contra-wise.
