A friend gave me this powder horn. It is so nice that I first thought it might be modern, but I notice the measure portion is by American Flask and Cap, a long ago firm. The large end closure is silver [tarnished] . The name Deacon of Chicopee, Mass., is on the measure in script. What can you tell me about the quite pretty item ?

Just a parts horn. With an old original flask head. I’ve made one of these with a flask head I removed from a crushed un repairable flask body. Way better quality than the reproduction flask heads. Looks like a nice horn!
