A friend recently traded for a pistol, and doesn't have a clue who made it and when it was made.
It has a lot of engraving and looks to be extremely well made. The only number on it is a 3 stamped under the barrel. The trigger drops into the firing position when it's cocked. It is a caplock. It has a rifled Damascus barrel about 5 inches long.I found one similar to it on Gunbroker and will try and post a pic of it.

Later I'll take some pic's of my friends gun.He asked me to try and find as much info on the gun as I can.

Photos are the place to start, photos of the actual gun, not one somewhat similar.
