Sitting fox offers a poor boy SMR in .36 and will customize the barrel to carbine length
I said .36, thinking Seneca they also make .40 and .55 in that gun along with their ‘Michigan’ gun, mostly Ohio style in 36-50, I think ( 🤔) that that was the style Senecas were based on.

As long as we are wishing...
I want a Hacker Martin build, a Bill Large barrel, and a pony!!
In Titusville penna. Morrison's gun shop has had a Hacker Martin in the case for quite some time. Jim Morrison was the owners name. It's a good lead if you really want one.

Wish lists Eh , Who's got a barrel for a 1835 Manton Cavalry carbine ? .Iv'e got the lock the other bits don't faze me. I think they are as common as rocking horse poo but who knows ? .Smooth 16 bore 20" brl with a hooked breach two elongated loops & a swivel rod provision . I had a Portuguese Padgett & a E I Coy Pistol lock they are now a 1820/ 27 E I Coy flint Cavalry & a Padgett about the only way to get an example . I had the parts of a Jacob's Scinde Irregular cavalry double carbine for Sowars sans barrel , but also had the DB barrels of a Jacobs Sepoy infantry rifle both made by Swinburne .So I made the wooden bit as if a local Baluchistan gun botcher might & now its a double rifle again not a common rifle .

I want a Hawken kit and a Kentucky rifle kit. Use the sights on the Hawken, and get a period accurate Malcom scope for the Kentucky, and have a heavy 1800s sniper and a good steel banger. They're just great lookin' guns, and I need projects to swear at for a few days.
