I have a 1980 Navy Arms ‘58 Remington NMA. The manufacturer’s cartouche is a capital letter P in a diamond. I’ve tried all my usual sources to find out the manufacturer and come up empty. Can anyone identify this mark?
Thanks Phill

Thanks to all of you. I had not considered a lightly stamped Pietta cartouches. In my search of old books and google, I found nothing. I even texted several BP revolver retail companies and none could identify it.
Thanks to all again.

PS, I found a picture of a Navy Arms revolver from 1979. The owner could not find the cartouche info anywhere. It was a poorly stamped Pietta where only the F is clear. The A was slightly visible and the P and the right hand portion of the diamond were missing completely.
Thanks again to all for your help.
