Good day all!

Available now is this fine Hudson Bay Camp Knife that I just finished. It is made from 3/16" thick 1075 high carbon steel. The blade measures 8-3/4" long with an overall length of 13-3/4" and 2" at the widest point. The handle is black walnut with some decorative stud work on it. The sheath is premium European oak tanned leather with copper rivets and hand stitched with linen thread. Everything has been given an aged finish with lots of patina and character.

Asking $245 USD and the shipping is included to Canada or the US.

Military Veterans and First Responders receive 15% off.

Thanks for looking!

What is the bevel angle on it?

If I recall correctly, that's how they were made in the day. Yours looks like it came here in a time machine. With the spine the thickness you state, maybe 10 degrees?

Yah, 10 degrees sounds about right for the primary bevel. My main focus is on getting an edge geometry that is neither too thin to withstand chopping, nor too thick that it would be unwieldy, or cause your carrots to fly across the room, lol.
