Hello! I am from Western PA and build longrifles as well as powderhorns. Muzzleloader season ( for whitetails) here in PA is my favorite time of year, the season after Christmas is for flintlocks only. We usually have snow on the ground for part of the season and what a great hunt that becomes. Nothing beats a good flintock and the smell of burnt blackpowder!
