On again/off again flintlock user. Trying to get involved again.
Just purchased an old percussion CVA Plainsman (a match to the flintlock) that is in fair to poor shape. I am in the process of cleaning/repairing/replacing to get it in good firing condition.
Hoping to learn from others mistakes while limiting my own ;-)

Good luck. Head up to Brushy Creek sunday. Their monthly shoot is the 4th sunday. March they do a rondy on their property. Lenox ga. Load your rfife on their benches and you can see I 75 north bound from their range. They are super easy to get to. Great folks and they love to cook up some great food.
