I've been shooting all kinds of things for a long time, but acquired my first ML gun just 9 months ago. I now have 3 English ML shotguns: a 16ga DB percussion gun from c.1840, a 22ga DB flintlock from c.1825 and a 16ga SB flintlock that's probably a decade older. I've now shot a fair amount of game with the percussion gun, but the flintlocks need a couple of repairs and a little fettling - about which I hope to obtain some knowledge here - I before they're ready to shoot.
