I used the original lockplate and fitted a small siler pan, frizzen, frizen spring, and hammer to it. Since I don’t have any expertise at fitting a breech plug to a barrel, I had a friend do it for me.
He installed a 32 inch 40 cal barrel. I’ve heard of other folks doing this but have never seen one.

Were the small Siler and associated parts designed for a conversion,or did you figure it out by yourself? My Seneca could use a rebarreling too.
 
I'm going to be busy for a while on this Kibler tha'ts in the mail. Later on I may jump on a flint conversion for that Seneca.
