I have a Hawkens 50 caliber percussion cap rifle by CVA 1:48 twist for sale for 350.00 plus shipping. Or will trade for a Civil War style musket,flintlock, or full length stock percussion cap rifle.

I do not see a way to date this exactly, not having a catalog etc. But CVA owns
a Spanish firm that has a state of the art barrel making facility. The barrels from
the new facility match the best on Earth. I had two (big shooting family they were
given as gifts) one was the black chrome version. These were top notch shooters.
Do not underestimate these CVA rifles just because they have lower prices. How
does it shoot? Before you sell it be sure what you are getting is better than what
you have. The proof is in the pudding as they say. Nice looking and if straight-up
well worth the asking price.
 
Im interested but could you explain a little more? Are you the first owner? If not, do you know the history and its date? Does it have its box and paperwork, any tools, even receipt as well? Any extras included? Have you made any mods or repairs? Any issues?
