Very decent Hawken made by Investarms. In .54, with double set triggers and a quite functional patchbox with spare nipple. Bore is quite decent with strong rifling. I have lubed the threads on the nipple, so no worries about a rusted-stuck nipple. Stpck shows normal usage over the past years, but still quite nice. I'd almost be tempted to sand the stock a bit "leaner" in places. This is the kind of rifle you can hunt with and not worry about.

$225 shipped to eastern US (add $10 to western US).

I will add that Investarms made rifles for a variety of importers and resellers. They are VERY well-made and accurate rifles. I've had several over the years, and they have all been superb shooters.

What is the twist. Do you consider Missouri in the west US
How big is that piece of wood missing just foreward of the lock

The twist looks to be 1:48". The sliver is 3 inches long and about 1/16" deep at the most.

I would ship to Missouri at $225.

That is a very nice rifle. I own an invest arms that I bought about 27 years ago I love it it shoots very accurate. I had to replace the rear sight because the little elevation screw fell out and I could not find a replacement at that time. So I put a buck horn sight on it and I have taken many deer with it sense.
