Haversack with Bark Tanned Flap with Liberty or Death Folk Art motif
A new haversack style/forage bag I handmade, “inspired” by the late 18th and early 19th century hunting accoutrements. The bag is made from a duct fabric dyed in walnut hulls, and fully lined with an interior double pocket. All hand-stitching done with natural linen and hemp beeswaxed thread. The flap is bark tanned deer leather with a hand painted Rev War Folk Art motif.
The bag measures 9 x 11. The handwoven wool strap is a natural woven jute 54” long.
This would make a wonderful addition for anyone into Muzzleloading…hunting…reenacting...or as a beautiful wall hanging decor.
