Haversack with Bark Tanned Flap and “Son of Liberty” Folk Art motif
A new haversack style/forage bag I handmade, “inspired” by the late 18th and early 19th century hunting accoutrements. The bag is made from a blue tapestry fabric, and fully lined with an interior double pocket. All hand-stitching done with natural linen and hemp beeswaxed thread. The flap is brain tanned deer leather with a hand painted folk art style Son of Liberty motif with Continental soldiers.
The bag measures 9 x 11 1/2 rounded design. The jute woven strap is 56” with red stripe pattern. This would make a wonderful addition for anyone into Muzzleloading…hunting…reenacting...or as a beautiful wall hanging decor.
