Thanks again for all your help, guys!

I've got a Lyman's Great Plains .50cal that works like a dream now. She's all tuned up!

I managed to go to a range all by myself, no group or mentors. Even had a jag head get stuck when cleaning mid-shoot and I pulled it free and troubleshooted all by myself.

It's awesome. A couple years ago I just decided to try find out how to shoot these after being such a history fan for so long. Found a group that taught me the ropes, and found this awesome community, and the rest was history.

One misfire today, but I was pushing to see how many shots I could get out of one stone. Dating back to last shoot, I was at 83 shots before the misfire. I used a diamond file to get the tip back sharp in between shoots, as per someone's recommendation on here. Worked great!

My girlfriend bought me a cheap Traditions Deerhunter flint with wooden stock for Xmas! Can't wait to try her out as well!
