Can not remember who posted a target similar to this but I decided we needed one at the Prarieland Frontiersman's range in Sullivan, IL.

It is a tire off a semi-trailer with a gong hanging inside of it made of AR 500 steel both supplied by Kevin Carlen our club President.

I managed to get the rest of the structure put together and if it works properly the lead splatters will be captured in the tire for remelting.

I was really hoping to be the first to shoot it and it will eventually be at the 100 yard line but to much rain and soft ground means it is just at the end of the driveway.

Thanks to whoever it was that first thought this up.

You going to set it on timbers or put some feet on it? Looks to weigh an easy 100 pounds and probably more!
