Gentlemen some help is needed. I have a golden age longrifle style. I would like to identify the maker. It has the initials "JWF"
on the top barrel flat. The owner thinks it was built in the early 60`s or 70`s. It is one nice rifle, brass patchbox and trigger guard. about 3x fancy tiger stripe maple full length stock.

All of the escutchions are hand engraved silver as is the star on the cheek piece. The stock is carved on the butt and around the wrist. A very fine looking gun. The lock is broken it says Russ Hamm on it. I understand he made locks in the 60`s or so.

Any boby have any ideas. I would appreciate anything you can tell me about it. Thanks Bill

I cant find anyone by those initals in Shumway"s book. MY ,my..now I see you said it was built in the 70's :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:
