In a week or so we're going up to the highlonesome for the summer. Have had fun down in the Arizona desert shooting, but, it's getting to darn hot, so it's up to the cabin for the summer. I'm going to be trying real black powder as I've shot triple seven since I started. I can't wait to get there. I have my sights on some trekking up there, and one place is near a tiny little lake with Apache trout and Artic grayling in it, so will be camping and fishing while wandering around.

Can I come visit? I have caught about every strain of trout including grayling but no Apache yet. I'll bring the REAL BP. and dry flies.

I won't be far behind y'all. Usually leave Texas the first week of July. Stop in Cloudcroft a few days then on North. I don't fish much but love to shoot a flintlock among the aspen.
