so when I get my muzzleloading version of a Billinghurst Requa Battery gun built....how do you tie fuses together to get the barrels to fire in sequence?

On my homemade cannons, I just a single 3/32 fuse. should I use faster fuses tied together?

how do you tie fuses together to get the barrels to fire in sequence?

You are going to have a difficult and dangerous time building one if you don't know how one works.....

This might help you understand the concept.

that was very helpful......going to build it like the one in the first video with a flash pan that i'll ignite with a single fuse.

What's your plan for safely determining if all the barrels fire..... :hmm:
Sure would hate to have hang fire.....
to start with, i'm not going to run upto it and look down the barrels. what do you suggest?

Well.....having a vent pick of sorts that will drop freely down the vent hole, should indicate if it's loaded....One could also make a U shaped metal ramrod...so you can check it without getting in front of the barrel...

Others may have a better idea.... :hmm:

I like the vent pick idea.

Maybe put a piece of masking tape over the end of each barrel before firing?

Nope!
I originally thought of masking tape, but then realized that it would increase my exposure to the muzzle of a loaded barrel and there's no guarantee muzzle blast from one barrel doesn't blow off the tape on another barrel that doesn't fire. Also after the first shot any remaining tape would have to be removed and the muzzle cleaned so tape for the next firing could stick....
Way too much hassle for me... :td:
