Oregon Territory here. Glad to join the forum here. I shoot a Hawken .50 cal CVA, and also a CVA Mountain rifle in .50 cal.
I have been ghosting the pages here to glean more information. I just added an 1863 Sherps Sporting rifle .45 cal. Pedersoli.
I have had it for a week and still awaiting my time at the range to touch it off.
As one member put it for these rifles, read read read for information, I also want to give back to this community. I do not have a wealth of knowledge but I do enthusiasm.
Cheers,
Rob

You are well-covered with those three rifle rifles (and check the n-ssa.org bulletin board for tips on running the percussion Sharps).
