Older Fowler looks to be about 16.ga.- was told it was made by Christian Daniels of Synder County? Woodwork is awesome and has a wood patchbox, locks works properly, 29” barrel , bead front sight. Hooked breech. This is a very light gun. The bore is rough, I have cleaned it and I believe it to be shootable. asking $450. Or trade for BP Pistols or ?? of course Cash is King.
Thought it was sold but you know how it goes sometimes. So I have it boxed and ready to go out the door.

Yes it has checkering on the stock and a wood finale behind the trigger guard.
Really nice wood.
