Hey all.
After a posting I made about the Springfield Armory was well received I figured I'd share another historic spot I took a look at. Found myself in Key West last week and took a ride over to Fort Zachary Taylor. Construction of the fort was started in 1845, and during the Civil War era was at three tier fort. Over time the tiers were reduced as the fort was modernized through the Spanish-American War, WW1/WW2 and later. Eventually the fort was added to the NRHP in 1971.

Most of the pictures to follow are of ACW cannons.
