what are the .45 cherokees in like new condition going for these days? mods, please pull if not allowed. thanks

The relative rarity is what's driving the price.
I've seen them go as high as $600 in the right market.
4-450 seems to be pretty common latley, :idunno:

Although not in the same league as the Seneca, the Cherokee is still a desirable and fairly rare gun. I bought a Seneca from a fellow that had another one for sale for $1500 bucks. It had never been removed form the box, ever! :shocked2: It was a 36 but the one I bought is a 45 and I paid $500. It is in real nice condition but had been shot. I am going to put a Cherokee in the $400 to $500 range for a mint one. You just never realy know until it is sold! :hmm: I certainly wouldn't take much less if it were mne.

thanks for the info and advice. i walked around the local gun show with the rifle today and had no takers. everybody wanted to know what i wanted for the "hawken", then they wanted to know why i wanted so much for it when they had used renegades for 200. i got tired of explaining and left with it. gun shows can frustrate and crank the blood pressure to new highs!

I just got one shipped up from Arkansaw to Ohio for the grandson and was happy to get it for $400. They are bringing a lot more than that in my area. In fact I got one in this week with a pitted barrel to put a liner in and it cost the owner $400 with a bad bore! It seems like they are one of those items you look for for years and suddenly you get two!

Just paid $500 for a .32 Cherokee in like new condition, and considered myself lucky with the prices I've seen on others lately.
