I heard some guy put lithium grease on the cylinder pin of his Remington 1858 Navy and he swore it helped cut the fouling down to the point where the cylinder got a lot more spins and, hence, he got a lot more play time.
Anybody hear of such a thing, or DO such a thing. or/and whatdya think about such a thing working out for the good anyhoo? And if it's a good idea, what kinda lithium grease would one purchase?
