I got my .50 cal. bore light in the mail yesterday. It wouldn't light up. Battery was OK. I cleaned up the contact points on the battery and on the tiny printed circuit board that holds the miniature light. I got it to light but now every time I'd slide it down the barrel (even gently at an angle) the bump at the bottom would cause it to turn off. So I took one of the felt wads I punch out for my .44's and glued it on to light to give it a soft landing. So far that has passed all the testing without fail. It's a very nice little gadget when working. It just seems like so much of what you buy brand new in this muzzle loading world needs fixing straight away.
