We got about 18 raindrops today. Cooled off enough to justify another circle through the woods. Didn't kill anything but a horseapple. Skeeters were just bad enough to buzz your ears. Come on fall.

Oh for sure. The squirrels give him hell in the yard. I think he feels a little bit of satisfaction too, when we do get one. 😂
how were the ticks and chiggers?
I went in without any dope this time, and believe it or not, didn't get bit by anything but a couple of skeets. Didn't even find anything crawling on me. Only things I can figure is that last winter we had an unusually deep freeze, and its dry as a bone out there.
 
I put a lot of stuff on when I was done at the southern Va house, and it kept the chiggers at bay. I still had a couple of ticks crawling on me. The ticks are bad here in southern Pa.
