Does anyone know what twist was used in the Charles Daly Hawken rifle (.50)? Seems slow but having a hard time measuring it.

I'm pretty sure that they are 1 in 48. You can call up their manuals on line. My 58 is a 1 in 48. Geo. T.

click on the articles-charts-links secton here on the forum and there's a very detailed article(under articles and how-to) on how to determine twist rate, ... if you dont already know how. Scott
