20+ years ago, I bought my son a CVA Hunter in the youth model. Anyone know of a current production stock that the hardware will pretty much drop into? Don’t care if it’s unfinished. I’ll keep the youth stock for future grandkids, I strongly dislike leaving the rifle unused. At 6’2”, the youth stock is simply too short for me.
Thanks!

The barrel, hooked breach and lock will drop into any CVA stock made for the same diameter barrel. The problem is that the barrel tenon/key will most likely not line up on a longer different stock. eBay frequently has CVA stocks listed. Make sure to know the measurements of both your barrel and the new stock keyway. A new dovetail and tenon is doable on your barrel if you really need a different stock.
