Well, I'm actually a fan of the CVA's that I've owned as all of them served me very well with no problems.

But your recall comment is not so in this manufacturers case IMO because they only recalled a small percentage of the inlines - those made in '95-'96. They did not recall any of the 15-16 models of sidelocks and inlines made for a dozen years after those two years that accounted for even more failures than those two model years of recalled inlines did.
