I was given a box of coper jacketed .40 calibre bullets. I had tried shooting some out of my .45 calibre T/C. Using a denim patch and some lube, I had poor results. Anyway. I decided to shoot some of the conicals out of my .45 calibre CVA Pennsylvania. Used a charge of 40 grains Schutzen FFFg. It was promising Some tweaking with the powder charge will yield better results. This was at 50 yards.
When I am bored, I try to change things up with my target shooting. An idle mind is sometimes a dangerous thing.
