To be honest, I'm not sure. I've seen many 1st gen london navy's plated and they call them officers models, usually in presentation cases.

It's been renickled sometime within the last 165 years, also the front sight , that was the customary way at that time and still to this day to help a open top shoot to point of aim.

If I’m not mistaken the factory would ship them with a dovetailed front sight. No idea if that’s the case here of course.
