Clipper race start

We provided a 10 min, a 3 min and a start bang for the Jersey to Liverpool leg of the round the world clipper race this year. All 8 boats said they had no problem hearing the cannon half a mile off shore. ??

I'm not surprised that they could hear it clearly from only a half mile away. They probably felt it too!

We did discuss sending a little chain shot with it just to make it a bit more realistic for them but yachties dont seem to have much of a sense of humor!!!
