Do you do hearts also. I love em.

Oh yes, I will eat hearts, livers and gizzards. I fry them all in the Fry Daddy. The hearts and livers can be just battered and fried and they come out great but the gizzards need to be pre-cooked before frying them or they will be tough.

I like a crispy crunchy coating on them so I first coat them with a light coat of flour, then I coat them with an egg wash made of an egg and a tablespoon of water whisked together. Next, I shake them in a bag of Panko and then into the Fry Daddy. They come out with a delicious crispy and crunchy coating. I have also heard of folks who use crushed Wheaties or corn flakes instead of the Panko. I haven't tried that but I'll bet it will work pretty well. I just prefer the Panko to make my crunchy coatings.
