It read that the cannon was being used with Black Powder.It sounds to me that it was more powerfull than BP. :shake:

There is no telling what they put in it. It might not have even been a 'real' cannon, maybe a nonfiring replica that someone drilled for a fuse. Or it could have been just an accident.

I agree...theers a lot of CSO's (cannon shaped objects) made out of grey cast iron or cast aluminium being used as lawn ornaments. All it takes is a numbskull with a drill and some black powder to turn it into a bomb
