Hello from Australia. I'm new on this forum and I wanted to ask your opinion on this pistol that I'm thinking of buying. Is it original or repro? http://m.gumtree.com.au/v?adId=1012721983

Hmmm... :hmm: $425 seems a lot for a pistol with a "decommissioned" barrel, and without documentation. And it has the common "unknown age or origin" phrase that allows the seller to say he never claimed it was original, after you buy it and find out it was made in 1978 or something.

I'd leave it alone myself, but that's just my opinion.

It is certainly no original and not even decent enough to call a repro. It is a low quality pistol made in the last 50 years.

It is a very common replica made in Spain around 1960-1980

The lock can be find on other models.
