The barrel legend translates as "bumblebee stamp", I have no clue as to the "A".

My unmentionable double smoothbore hammer gun has similar back action locks - which makes for a more slender wand than a boxlock or most sidelocks.

I’ll gonna say that “Bourdon A Etampes” is Butterfly at Etampes. Etampes is now part of metropolitan Parts.
