I remember as a kid with my first gun ... killed a bluejay and remembered Dad saying nothin wrong as long as you use what you kill ... sooo ... starting a small fire, I shoved a green willow thru it and roasted it. I remember it still today and I vowed that unless I were starving ... no more bluejay's for this child ... to this day ... yuk!

You boil the galah with an old pair of leathern boots, when the boots are soft, toss out the galah and eat the boots.
