So I went for some range therapy today. I took my HR springfield stalker 45 cal. I have always been a flintlock guy. So I decided to do something different today. I bought the gun 5+ years ago for 100. and stuck it in the gun cabinet and literally forgot about it. So I was really surprised when I shot it today. I had fun and learned a few things. I feel like I have been missing out for years. Found out I need a new front sight. The person before me filed it down way to far. Looking for a replacement now. Learned a good vent pick is needed given I clogged the nipple and I had to rummage through my truck and use a needle from a sewing kit to pick it. I do have one other percussion rifle it a 58 double rifle and it's fun to shoot but way to heavy to shoot a lot. Any one else have a stalker? What's your thoughts on them?

I have had one for years but never really shot it much. I really need to get it out and find a good load, it is a light handy little rifle.
